Brayebrook Observatory is a not-for-profit organization. We do however sell items that are of use to amateur telescope makers, particularly those involved in the restoration or reconstruction of old and antique telescopes. We can also offer advice and assistance where necessary. Products useful in the restoration of brass & steel or iron work such as Tourmaline, Haematite, Tung oil, various lacquers including xylene paints, thinners, bases and pigments and waxes, may be purchased at trade prices plus shipping and insurance. Please include your country of origin when inquiring about items. I will be able to give you accurate shipping rates and tell you if your requested item is still available. Some of these items are only consignable within the UK. Please see the Restoration & Restoration Techniques page for further information about the use of these products.
You will need to enquire for prices which will be quoted in UK stirling. All items except broken ones have a 10 day no-hassle money back guarantee.
Payment may be made by cash, money order, cashier's cheque or personal cheque (if you don't mind waiting for the cheque to clear.) I accept either US or Canadian dollars; UK stirling or Euro currencies.
